Zephyr Project at ROSCon Global 2026

ROSCon Global 2026 will take place September 22–24 in Toronto, Canada. The three-day developer conference brings together ROS developers of all experience levels to learn, network, and exchange ideas through workshops, technical talks, tutorials, and demonstrations.
Members of the Zephyr Project community will be at the event, and Zephyr Developer Advocate Benjamin Cabé will present a talk. If you are attending, join his session and connect with the Zephyr community to learn more about Zephyr in robotics.
Session Highlight:
Thursday, September 24th, 2026 – 4:40 PM – 4:50 PM – Zephyr RTOS & Robotics: Will it Blend? – Benjamin Cabé, Zephyr Project
Robots are full of embedded controllers in charge of motor control, sensor acquisition, safety monitoring, I/O, and network connectivity. Zephyr RTOS is a strong candidate for building this layer of the robotics stack, but how well does it actually fit alongside ROS? This talk gives a practical, honest look at what Zephyr already offers for embedded robotics developers, where it works well and where the integration story with the ROS ecosystem and bleeding-edge robotics use case is still immature.
