DESCRIPTION:Navimatix and inovex is hosting Zephyr in Science and Education 2026 to bring together universities\, research institutions\, industry partners\, and the wider Zephyr community. Building on its expertise in Zephyr RTOS training\, workshops\, and professional embedded systems development\, Navimatix aims to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry\, promote the integration of Zephyr into education and applied research\, and support the next generation of developers in adopting Zephyr as a sustainable\, future-oriented platform for embedded systems. \nThe aims of the planned conference include: \n\nIncreased use of Zephyr in academic education\nIntegration of Zephyr in research and science\nNetworking of ‘trainers’ to exchange methods and training approaches\nExchange on teaching content and methodological teaching approaches\, particularly in the area of embedded system development\n\nThe conference will take place on 22 September 2026 in the Abbe Center of Photonics\, which is the academic center of scientific activities in the fields of optics and photonics at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. \nImportant Dates： \n\nPre-Submission for Abstracts and Paper outlines: rolling till May\, 2026\nPaper Registration and Submission Deadline: July 27\, 2026 (Submit your CFP here)\nNotification of Acceptance: July 31\, 2026\nRegistration: August 16\, 2026\nCamera Ready: August 30\, 2026\nConference: Sept 22\, 2026\n\nLearn more about the event and register here.

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, 6 October \nTime: 8:00 – 17:00\nLocation: Prague Congress Centre\nRegistration Cost: Early Bird: €100\, Standard: €150 \n\n\n\n\n\nThis forum is a working set of meetings with Zephyr maintainers and technical leaders to decide strategic directions for the project. The forum will focus on release planning\, security & safety support\, technical decisions and process changes\, maintainer workflows\, and cross-subsystem coordination. The agenda will be designed by the Zephyr Technical Steering Committee (TSC) with the intentions of highly interactive discussions that will advance development and strategies. \nInterested participants are encouraged to attend in-person as sessions will not be recorded. Maintainers\, TSC members\, subsystem owners\, and frequent contributors to the project who want to be active in shaping the technical strategy for Zephyr in the coming year are welcome. \nHow to Register: Pre-registration is required.
